Hero eMaestro At the 2020 Hero World, Hero MotorCorp unveiled the eMaestro electric scooter concept. It has the same body, suspension, and wheels as the Maestro Edge 110 scooter, but it might have a modified frame to make room for the electric motor and battery pack. The electric scooter is currently undergoing final testing and could go on sale by the middle of 2020.

At the company’s R&D center in Jaipur, the Hero eMaestro Concept electric scooter was sighted. Its foundation is the Hero Maestro Edge 125, which is its petrol-powered sister. A lithium-ion battery pack and a permanent magnet motor are used to power the scooter.

Hero eMaestro Features
The Maestro Edge’s tail lamp assembly is used by the eMaestro, but it receives a new LED headlamp. Digital displays have even taken the role of the instrument console’s semi-digital counterpart. Reverse mode, cloud connectivity, and keyless ignition are further features. The eMaestro distinguishes itself from its gasoline-powered cousin thanks to a copper-colored front suspension, wheels, and transmission cover.
eMaestro Engine
According to Hero, the eMaestro is equipped with a cutting-edge lithium-ion battery pack and a potent permanent magnet motor. The bikemaker hasn’t released any specifications beyond this information. We think the Ather 450 X’s permanent magnet synchronous (PMS) electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack could be used in the eMaestro because Hero MotoCorp has sizable ownership in Bangalore-based Ather Energy, an electric vehicle start-up. For comparison, the battery pack in the Ather 450X has a true range of 85 km and the 6kW motor produces 26 Nm of torque.
eMaestro Suspension & Brakes
The 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels, telescopic fork, and mono-shock suspension system of the Maestro Edge are all seen on the eMaestro. The identical drum brake arrangement looks to be used for both wheels’ braking as well. To fit the battery pack and electric motor, the frame might need to be altered.
